Thanks Izzy from Izzy video for these great tips, I will try them soon!
I read a very interesting article this morning saying that allowed budgets for the referendum campaign in Scotland is limited (something around £3M) and hence campaigner will have to be very creative in using their money.
Well here is an excellent example of a video based on a very well written script and a nice use of text rolling. Worth watching till the end!
An unbelievable story from Vicki Croke about elephants during the WWII, worth to listen till the end! More about this story and Vicki Croke on her website http://vickicroke.com.
Good mix of skate and fashion in a strange desert town. I particularly like the skaters outfit, very elegant. Female models are giving an interesting contrast. The video was made for a fashion magazine but I could not get instantly which one (l'officiel?).
Great case study of youtube marketing about a product no one heard about before. These guys were so good that they are speaking at conferences now! Full analysis on the REELSEO here, and a realy nice interview where Dane Golden explain his 4 Cs of good video marketing: Content, Collaboration, Call for Action and Consistency
Great website from Boeing called the 777x galery experience. The nararive is excellent as by scrolling with your mouse you move through a video recorded at the exhibition. Some stops allow to dig more with some videos. Really well made and executed, the only little problem is the end that ends in front of a staircase and propose to go to some corportate websites... Could have been more fun to go out of the window and see a plane passing through...
This National Geographic Found Tumblr is just full of fantastic pictures! the one below is particularly beautiful!
Just fantastic webdocumentry from National Geographic about Serengeti lions. The naration is really made for the web as you go up and down on one story and left and right for the chapters.
Just came accross Wondereur, a nice website doing some art curation with style. It is focused on photojournalistic stories and art recommendations. By browsing it for 10 minutes, I found some really interesting stuff such as this picture below from Natasha Clitandre called Fragment of Montreal.
Well made and scary webdocumentry about deep oil drilling. All videos are about 2 to 3 minutes long and the narration is always very focused. In addition the music and the sound are just fantastic and create an atmosphere. Worth getting lost!
Documentry link is there: http://offshore-interactive.com/
Strange and fantastic webproject made by Arte about what they call Devil's Toy: Skateboarding. Several stories from several cities all over the world. The best is the one in Athens with crazy academic professor teaching skateboard at university :-)

BARCELONA in Flow-Motion - A fast moving short film.... In few other cities is it possible to walk from spectacular location to spectacular location. I had a fantastic time adventuring around Barcelona's winding streets making this film. Special thanks to Ferran Macià Edo and his colleagues from Agència Catalana de Turisme (Catalan Tourism Board) for helping me get access to shoot at numerous stunning locations including: Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya Gran Teater del Liceu Sagrada Familia Museu D'Historia De Barcelona Palau de la Música Santa Maria del Pi And an extra special thanks to Marta Garriga Bardalet for patiently modelling during an uncharacteristically cold and rainy day. Great tips on how to shoot a city at night from Jimmy Mcintyre on 500px. All tips are really hands on, sometimes a bit technical but that is what it take to make pictures like that!
