The new online campaign from Hermes called metamorphose is just amazing; I got hooked to the website for quite long, testing all different worlds they have been creating. The most amazing is that the ultimate French luxury brand does not take itself too seriously, for instance the picture below comes from a movie of a finger skating in the middle of Hermes iconic orange boxes and then going through plenty of products! One of my favorite is also the one for the ski clothes, the most unexpected music matches perfectly girls going down the slopes.

My girlfriend thinks I am crazy and she might be right... I just finished the 'Roma per Due' a saling race from Rome to Sicilia and back on Virtual Regatta. I did it in a bit less than 5 days wich is really bad if I was on a real boat in real conditions. But if the wind conditions were real, I was online, changing directions and sails from an app on the iphone.
It is not the first race I am doing online, I did the Vendée Globe around the world in almost 3 months, that was much more demanding although the real winners of the race arrived before me (but a virtual racer was quicker than the real one!).
Very good and fun work for Karim Rejeb (www.karimrejeb-surfart.com/) of extreme skiing and snowboarding with playmobil. Less risky business :-)
With season 7 of Mad Men starting next Sunday several trailers started to popup on Youtube and Facebook. My favourite is this one called the Psychedelic Journey. Cannot wait to see Don Draper again!

Skiing moments are so special I always need to make movies ;-) This winter I had the chance to ski with my father and my brother! I did not went on the slopes for at least 3 years and quitted snowboard for skis! After all these years, the fun is still there!

I have mixed feelings about this campaign coming from a brand that tends to compete on a very consumerist market... But the storytelling behind it is quite good and well excecuted.

Mark the date for the craziest ski competition in the Alps! I did it 10 years ago, it was just pure madness, the atmosphe, the people, the skiing! it is the less serious race I have ever seen but nevertheless the best skiers I have even seen!
I will not make it this year, but will think about them!

Last weekend was the first free-ride competition in the fantastic ski ressort of Baqueira-Beret. I learned to ski there and keep on going every season with my family. There is a great spirit in these Spanish mountains and a really high level for the Pyrenées. This is the first time I see a freeride competition there and I whish I could be part of it! May be next season :-)
