Photographer James Morgan decided to create something a bit special to mark the Queen Mary 2’s 10th anniversary.
The picture is amazing! a man in a suit at the top of the mats... really fits the Hugo Boss style of class and adventure. For sure this pictire will be on plenty of fashion magazines for the next months.
As a sailor, I will never ever encourage anybody to do something like that! All the things that may have gone wrong while he was walking on the sail, standing at the top... and then jumping from the mats.... Just pure madness!
Another very visual clip from the Pixies... It is interesting the way they have been releasing new songs and clips every two months. That really builds a appetite for more and also to go back to the old songs ;-)
Beautifully shot and well told story about the Sapeurs, a group of refined gentlemen from Brazzaville, the capital of the Republic of Congo.
A great example of content marketing where the brand is associating itself to the produsction of a very special content. It is not about the beer anymore but about the people that are drinking it and how special you feel
An amazing, super creative and beautifully executed fashion films from J.Crew. They don’t just show us what’s in their new collection or what inspires them, they build really great stories that captivate from beginning to end. They remind us that every process has an arch. Every product has a history. Last but not least, they do that with a pich of great humour! Storytelling as I love it!
This video is a compilation of the pictures I took in February 2014. I have been testing a lot of new cool tools this month such as the Nik Collection from Google that helped me to create some really cool looking pictures. I also bought a fish eye lens and started to play with it... Just amazing how cool it is to be able to have a 180° view!
Playing with the Fish eye lense for some out of the box portraits of Jérôme.
Playing with my new fish eye lens, quite happy to have a larger perspective :-)
Great speech of Kevin Spacey reflecting on the success of House of Cards and the new habits of watching complex and exciting stories that can keep you awake for 3 days :-) very inspiring!
Continuing my quest in understanding and gathering great videos about storytelling. This TEDx talk from Julian Friedmann is both very informative and entertaining (what he is preaching)!
"When looking at the screen, we are not looking at the actors (...) we are looking at ourselves. Only we are the storytellers."
Testing the RAW setting on my camera that allows to make some amazing post treatments of the pictures. Super happy about some portraits :-)
Portraits of my friend Pietro.
